Brian is a second generation SCUBA Instructor with 34 years experience. He is a Certified SCUBA Instructor through NASDS & SSI. Brian's latest achievement is that he is now a Poseidon MKIV Rebreather instructor! After years of working and running dive charter boats, he began teaching people how to dive. He joined Mac's in 1988 and shortly thereafter became Manager.  When Brian leaves Florida on vacation, he heads to the ski slopes in Utah and Colorado.

Jim is a lifetime member of the National Speleological Society (NSS) and lifetime member of the Cave Diving Section of the NSS.  He holds a Commercial Multi Engine Pilots license and a Lighter the Air Pilots License with Instrument rating and high altitude endorsement.  Jim is an internationally published scientific author and photographer and works with NASA and the Canadian Space Agency as a Dive Team Photographer.  The October 2008 issue of Diver featured many of Jim's photographs for NASA. As a member of 5 NASA Expeditions he works with Astrobiologists on analog research in extreme environs on Earth to develop protocol to look for life and water on Mars.

He is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and of The Explorers Club; Jim is the current Chairman of the Southwest Florida Chapter of The Explorers Club.
