Group Classes
Starting at $499
This program is best way to begin your lifelong adventures as a certified scuba diver. Personalized training is combined with in-water practice sessions to ensure you have the skills and experience required to become truly comfortable underwater. We have a new Group class starting every week.
WEEK NIGHT CLASS
Our most popular schedule, this class meets one night a week for four consecutive weeks from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. for classroom and pool sessions. It also includes two Sundays for the open water dives at the end of the third and fourth week.
WEEKEND CLASS
Weekend 1: Friday 6pm-9pm, Saturday 8:30am to 3pm (Pool and classroom review both days)
Sunday 8am-12 Open Water Dive Day #1
Weekend 2: Saturday 8:30am to 3:00pm (Pool and classroom review both days)
Sunday 8am-12pm Open Water Dive Day #2

Semi-Custom Dive Classes
Starting at $799
If your schedule doesn’t work with our pre-arranged dates for dive classes, a semi-custom beginner SCUBA certification class may be the answer for you. Custom Dive classes are a hybrid of, both, group and private lessons. The class and pool session will be customized to your schedule, while your open water dives will be completed with one of the group classes on pre-set dates. See our upcoming class dates below.

Private scuba lessons offer flexible scheduling, allowing you to learn at your convenience. With personalized, one-on-one instruction, you can progress at your own pace while fitting sessions around your schedule, making training more efficient, comfortable, and time-effective.
SCUBA Referral Class
Have you already started a class up North and dread the cold water dives? With our SCUBA Referral Class, as long as you have completed your beginner SCUBA certification classroom sessions at your local dive shop, you can complete your open water dives, in Clearwater or Tarpon Springs, with Mac’s Sports. When you are ready to do your open water dives, just plan a visit to the Tampa Bay area! Mac’s will help you complete your beginner SCUBA certification dives at one of our local crystal clear 72 degree springs.
